Inspired by nature and everything antique, Amy enjoys creating handmade jewelry, note cards, bookmarks and collaged "Spirit Boxes". Using a combination of old and new materials to design objects of beauty, Amy makes art for the sheer joy of it! Always collecting beads from her travels and unusual objects to put into collaged boxes, she loves to embellish a glimmer of the past in all she creates. A self-taught artist who also enjoys gardening, kayaking, yoga, meditation and journaling. Amy shares a beautiful Arts & Crafts style bungalow with her husband Bill and their two well-loved cats, Matisse and Karma. She is also a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with The Psychology Clinic, Inc. located out of the Cafe of Life, in downtown Baraboo, WI. Her work can be seen at the Cornerstone Gallery and at Papa Bears Northwoods Store in Baraboo. Commissions welcomed.
