About
The Artists
Bill and
Jean began their artistic work together in 2001, creating
unique pieces from glass and metal. Bill has been
crafting metal for more than 25 years, starting in the
construction and installation of ski lifts in Wisconsin and
in other projects in the American West. He started
carving wood and crafting in metal for art and decoration
during the 90's. In 2000, after having run a
commercial dairy with goats and Jersey cows, Jean realized
her artistic bent and began creating with glass as a hobby,
finding joy and satisfaction in creating beautiful and
interesting objects from stained glass. Their farm is
located amid the splendor of the Baraboo Bluffs, and this
love of the land and the Baraboo and Wisconsin Rivers,
provide inspiration for their art.
