From design through construction, unique pieces are fashioned via the mediums of copper, steel, stained glass and an eclectic variety of recycled everyday objects and materials. Unique stained glass windows with representational or abstract designs can be created incorporating your color choices and to your size specifications.

We look forward to the challenges given to us by our customers in helping them to realize their vision of the world through the mediums of glass and metal. Let us create a one-of-a-kind piece just for you.

About The Artists

Like a conjurer, Jean Stephany transforms the raw elements of glass, solder, copper, stone and found objects into one-of-a-kind creative expressions of her love of nature. Inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds her home and studio along the Baraboo River in the foothills of the Baraboo Bluffs, Jean delights in making glass art that visually soothes and spiritually refreshes.

Although her love of glass began during the stained glass renaissance of the 1970’s, it was not until the late 1990’s that she surrendered herself to the mysteries of the medium and became a full-time artist. During the intervening twenty years, Jean devoted all her energies to homesteading and operating a commercial dairy, milking both goats and Jersey cows, which left her little time to explore her creative urges. But, like the inexorable pull of the ocean tides, she finally succumbed to the allure and magnetism of glass.

Although Jean has no formal art education, she does have an inherent sense of color and design. When a found object or a particular piece of glass ‘speaks’ to her, she finds within its character the stimulus for a new creation. Fascinated by the magical way glass transmits and reflects light, Jean is especially captivated by the combination of glass and metal. This affection for the beauty of dissimilar textures and colors can best be seen in her three-dimensional sculptural artworks and wall pieces.

Jean’s goals are simple: to share her love of the medium with others and to create objects of beauty that will bring smiles to all who see them.
